The onset of winter surprised several drivers on the A8 autobahn between the Munich South junction and Weyarn. There were accidents at the weekend in which all the drivers involved were driving too fast on a slippery road. According to the Holzkirchen Autobahn Police report, some vehicles also had summer tires on them. Nobody got hurt. The cars either collided with the crash barriers or came to a standstill in the green strip next to the road. According to the police, all drivers must expect a fine of 145 euros. A 19-year-old from the district of Munich just got rid of his driver’s license. He was found around 5 a.m. on Sunday morning in the Aying area in the direction of Munich, standing in his SUV on the hard shoulder. He reported an accident with no other parties involved.
