Spaeny wins award for best actress

American actress Cailee Spaeny won the Best Actress award. In “Priscilla” (directed by Sofia Coppola), the 25-year-old plays the eponymous main character, the temporary wife of Elvis Presley.

The film biography is based on the memoirs of Priscilla Presley (78), “Elvis and Me”, and paints a new picture of the King of Rock’n’Roll: that of a man who loves his girlfriend, who is ten years his junior, but at the same time controls and betrays him . The drama is told from the perspective of Priscilla, who met Elvis in Germany at the age of 14 and moved to Memphis with him at the age of 17.
