The theater group at Harvard University in Cambridge, USA, has named Jennifer Garner “Woman of the Year” and presented her with a trophy. The actress is clearly delighted.

The US actress Jennifer Garner (49) has been celebrated by the theater group of the venerable Harvard University as “Woman of the Year”.

According to US media reports, the traditional parade across Harvard Square in Cambridge (Massachusetts) took place on Saturday in cold winter weather. Images showed a radiant Garner (“30 Over Night”, “Alias ​​– The Agent”) in a coat and mittens.

Gold-colored pudding pot

Garner then accepted the Hasty Pudding award in the form of a gold-colored pudding pot. She is a talented performer and philanthropist, the theater group said in a statement about Garner, who is also an ambassador for the Save the Children charity. Her predecessors among the awardees include Bryce Dallas Howard, Mila Kunis, Helen Mirren, Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep and Sandra Bullock.

Since the 1950s, the university theater group has given the award to two performers for “lasting and impressive contributions to the world of entertainment”. Actor Jason Bateman (53) was celebrated as “Man of the Year” in early February. The theater company announced the winners in December and January.
