The PS5 will apparently start selling on PlayStation Direct tomorrow. According to unconfirmed reports, Sony has started sending out relevant invitations.

According to reports that have not yet been verified, the first PlayStation players were sent an invitation to buy a PS5 via PlayStation Direct tomorrow. It should be available on November 11, 2021 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. But even with the exclusive invitation, it is by no means guaranteed that all interested parties can buy a copy of the PS5, because availability only applies while stocks last.

It is unclear how players qualify for an invitation. It is quite possible that a valid PlayStation Plus membership will help. It offers another advantage: Orders via PlayStation Direct are sent to PS Plus members without shipping costs. Otherwise, 3.99 euros will be charged for shipping. PlayStation Direct has achieved significant sales in the US market within a little over a year after its launch, said SIE President and CEO Jim Ryan a few months ago. A growth of 300 percent is targeted for the current financial year, supported by the start in Europe.
