Autoteiler Vaterstetten: First electric car for car sharing – Ebersberg

Car sharing has existed in the greater community of Vaterstetten for 30 years. The fleet’s first electric car recently went into service.

Environmental and climate protection are already associated with car sharing, as the association now reports, and e-mobility also plays a major role in this context. However, it was not easy to find a parking space with a charging station for the sole use of the car sharers. It was only thanks to a member who installed a charging station on his own property for the association that the car sharers were able to take the step towards the first e-car. Since a car-sharing vehicle is driven by up to five different users per day, “it must of course be ensured that the e-car is always ready for use so that the next user does not run out of juice on the way,” according to the association in its current publication message, but also that the vehicle will not be blocked for too long due to the loading times.

More information about the car dividers can be found at www.carsharing-vaterstetten.de.
