Autonomous dishwasher locks 22-year-olds in the bathroom

In Lörrach, Baden-Württemberg, a young woman was locked in the bathroom by her dishwasher. The automatic folding door blocked the bathroom door, which opened outwards, until the fire brigade was able to free the 22-year-old.
A self-opening dishwasher put a 22-year-old girl in a bathroom in Baden-Württemberg in a hopeless situation. As the police in Freiburg announced on Friday, the woman went into her bathroom in Lörrach on Thursday evening and closed the door. The kitchen was right next door. When the dishwasher had finished the washing program there, the flap opened and blocked the bathroom door, which opened outwards.
Since the bathroom didn’t have a window, the woman was trapped. A friend who lives in Hesse finally called the police, because the trapped woman had just moved to Lörrach and had no contacts there.
Fire brigade can free woman from Bad
A police patrol tried to help. According to the information, the apartment door could not be opened with an organized second key because the key was in the lock from the inside.
The fire brigade had to take action and open the door, which was successful without damage. The firefighters managed to free the woman from her predicament.
