Austria: The controller returns – media

The book, he says, comes at the wrong time, and actually he’s not the type for the front row. Giving an interview therefore feels “kind of weird” to him. And one is almost inclined to believe the PR professional. So is Gerald Fleischmann really nervous when he receives a marathon interview with the media in a Viennese coffee house, to which he otherwise serves bite-sized political messages? Or just a particularly skilled communicator on your own behalf, which for many years has always been – and still is – the responsibility of the Austrian People’s Party?
