It’s an unusually cold winter in Sydney – or what Australians call cold. The thermometer did not rise above 19.2 degrees plus in the first two weeks of June (which corresponds meteorologically to December in the northern hemisphere), it has not been this cold since 2006. And when Australians get cold, they put electric fan heaters in their homes. Heaters are usually not provided here.
