German handball players delight 8.45 million viewers

The German handball players have set a new record. For the first time during the home European Championship they broke the eight million viewer mark.

The German handball players have that ZDF won the TV ratings at prime time on Monday evening. At 8:30 p.m., 8.45 million viewers watched the European Championship game between Germany and Hungary (35:28). This corresponds to a market share of 29.3 percent.

Behind was the ARD: On the first, 3.74 million (12.9 percent) watched the crime thriller repeat “Donna Leon: Finally My”. Close behind was the private broadcaster RTL with the quiz classic “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?” – this is how 3.47 million (12.2 percent) spent their evening.

Afterwards, at 10:15 p.m., 3.84 million (24.3 percent) saw the RTL jungle camp “I’m a star – get me out of here!”.

A look at primetime at 8:15 p.m.: ZDFneo attracted 1.49 million (5.2 percent) with the crime series “Inspector Barnaby”. ProSieben achieved 1.06 million (4.0 percent) with the fantasy series “House of the Dragon”. Sat.1 recorded 830,000 (3.1 percent) with the weight loss show “The Biggest Loser – Life Made Easier”. Vox broadcast the emigrant soap “Goodbye Germany” – 720,000 (2.5 percent) wanted to see it. Kabel eins had 660,000 viewers (2.5 percent) with the US film “Iron Man”.
