Olaf Scholz introduces himself as the new Chancellor of the Federal Republic. This attracted an audience of millions to the devices. But the first one with the political program did not win the best odds.

The first appearance of the new Chancellor Olaf Scholz at prime time was watched by 4.54 million viewers (15.1 percent) on Wednesday evening. From 8:15 p.m., the SPD politician was a guest on the political program «Confess color» on the first.

This was followed by 3.27 million (11.3 percent) in the ARD history series “A Touch of America” with Elisa Schlott, Jonas Nay and Dietmar Bär.

The strongest prime time format was the ZDF wanted program “Aktenzeichen XY … ungelöst” with Rudi Cerne, which brought 5.23 million (18.0 percent) into the house. The RTL program “Thanks Mirco” in memory of Mirco Nontschew was also very strong, with 2.24 million (7.9 percent) interested. The Sat.1 documentary soap “Wedding at first sight” was viewed by 1.38 million (5.3 percent).

ProSieben had the comedy show “TV total” with Sebastian Pufpaff in its program, 1.50 million (5.1 percent) watched. Then the ProSieben magazine reached “Zervakis & Opdenhövel. Live.” 520,000 viewers (2.2 percent). The Münster thriller “Wilsberg: Russian Roulette” with Leonard Lansink and Oliver Korittke attracted 1.43 million (4.9 percent) on ZDFneo. Kabel Eins broadcast the science fiction film “The day the earth stood still” with Keanu Reeves and Jennifer Connelly, which 860,000 people (3.1 percent) wanted to see.

730,000 people (2.4 percent) opted for the Vox drama series “Ferdinand von Schirach – Faith” with Peter Kurth and Narges Rashidi. The American comedy “Dumm und Dümmer” with Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels on RTLzwei had 380,000 viewers (1.3 percent).
