“Tatort” on Sunday evening – that is a fixed and irrefutable quantity. A romance landed in second place.

The Berlin “Tatort” was by far the biggest ratings hit at prime time on Sunday.

9.01 million viewers (27.2 percent) switched to the case of “The Cold and the Dead” from 8.15 p.m. Nina Rubin (Meret Becker) and Robert Karow (Mark Waschke) had this time to solve the gruesome murder of a medical student.

The ZDF romance “A Summer in Istria” with Sophie Pfennigstorf and Vladimir Korneev came to 4.19 million (12.6 percent). ProSieben broadcast the US action film “Black Panther” with Chadwick Boseman and Michael B. Jordan – 1.87 million (6.4 percent) were on the screen. The Sat.1 casting show “The Voice of Germany” watched 1.79 million (6.2 percent). For the Vox cooking show “Grill den Henssler” 1.35 million (5.3 percent) were able to warm up.

RTL had the music program “The Ultimate Chart Show – The Most Successful Hits of the Year” with Oliver Geissen in the program, 1.10 million (4.5 percent) watched. The capital city thriller “A strong team: Gender warfare” with Maja Maranow and Florian Martens achieved 1.03 million (3.1 percent) on the special interest broadcaster ZDFneo.

The clip show “Germany’s greatest secrets” on Kabel Eins attracted 870,000 people (2.8 percent). RTLzwei had the American comedy “Bad Neighbors 2” starring Seth Rogen and Zac Efron ready at prime time – 530,000 (1.6 percent) opted for it.

The game between the German national soccer team and Armenia dominated the previous evening. The 4-1 victory of the team by national coach Hansi Flick was followed by an average of 6.61 million on RTL, which meant an excellent 24.5 percent market share.
