This year it will once again be “First, Second and Third” at the Munich Academy of Fine Arts when the Academy Association’s popular auction takes place on Tuesday, October 24th – for the 32nd time, by the way.
A total of 106 works will be auctioned this year and can still be viewed on Monday and Tuesday from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. In addition, the work on the website of the academy association presented in detail. A focus is on video and performance. The auction is led by Katrin Stoll from the Neumeister auction house and the gallery owner Florian Sundheimer. Half of the proceeds go to the artists, the other half remains with the association to promote student projects, to award prizes for the diploma and annual exhibitions and to finance (emergency) scholarships.
