Attention, some operations are now chargeable for subscribers

Bouygues Telecom has changed its price list. The operator has decided to charge for certain operations that were previously free, according to the sites universefreebox and Capital. This concerns in particular the change of IBAN or the renewal of telephone.

In detail, Bouygues Telecom distinguishes two cases. Either you go through customer service and the operation will be chargeable, or you perform this operation online and it will remain free. For example: paying your bill through customer service will be charged 7.50 euros but it will cost you nothing on bouyguestelecom.fr.

Several changes

Changes have thus been detected by Capital between the 2020 tariff schedule and that validated in April 2022. The change of IBAN is invoiced at 7.50 euros via 1064. The termination or migration of the mobile option will again cost you 7.50 euros. The renewal of the mobile phone will be penalized by a fee of 10 euros.

Another price change, WiFi settings are charged at 9 euros. An approach that remains free online. Another important change: a duplicate invoice already sent by post will cost 7.50 euros.

Contacted by Capital, Bouygues points out that these services are “free in most cases from the customer area”. The operator indicates that the customer is “informed during his call of this pricing. He can then choose to carry out his procedure from his client account or to entrust it to the advisor. »
