Attempted homicide in Dorfen – Erding

After a physical altercation, a 22-year-old man was taken to the hospital on Monday night with a stab wound. The police were informed around 12:50 a.m. that two people were attacked by a group of strangers on the Stiftlring in Dorfen, according to the press office of the Oberbayern-Nord police headquarters. It was only after the private drive to a hospital that it was found there that a 22-year-old had suffered a life-threatening stab wound. The police are now assuming an attempted homicide.

The Erding criminal police took over extensive measures to secure evidence at the scene of the crime at around 1 a.m. and carried out investigations into the still unclear sequence of events, which a police spokesman described as “nebulous”. The police headquarters does not want to provide any further information for investigative reasons. One cannot currently make any valid statement about the course of events. Any witnesses to the incident are asked to contact the investigators of the Erding criminal police by telephone (08122/9680).
