Six football fans from Mönchengladbach were injured in the subway by Bayern supporters after their team’s game against FC Bayern last Saturday. According to the police, the six men between the ages of 18 and 22 got on a subway in Fröttmaning after the end of the game around 6:30 p.m. that was actually intended for Bayern fans. There they were initially verbally attacked by four people, eventually a fight broke out and the Gladbacher fan scarves were taken away from them.
At the next subway stop in Freimann, the men got off and got on the following train, where they met like-minded Gladbach residents. Her injuries – hematomas and bleeding on her face – were noticed by police officers who spoke to her about them. The injured were unable to provide personal descriptions. Nevertheless, the police are now looking for the perpetrators – among other things by calling for witnesses and with the help of surveillance videos from the subway.
