The sprinters Owen Ansah, Lucas Ansah-Peprah (both Hamburg), Kevin Kranz (Wetzlar) and Joshua Hartmann (Cologne) set a record in the 4×100 meter relay at the Regensburg Gala. They improved the German record to 37.99 seconds. It is the first time that a DLV quartet stayed under 38 seconds. The old mark was 38.02 seconds and dates from July 27, 2012.
