At the Elysée, the changing of the Republican guard becomes public again

The changing of the Republican guard in front of the Elysée will once again be open to the public every first Tuesday of each month, reviving a tradition abandoned 27 years ago, the presidency announced on Sunday, November 5, thus confirming a RTL information.

The Republican Guard includes some 3,400 men and women. A large changing of the guard was set up in front of the Elysée between 1909 and 1996, every day at 7:45 a.m.
