At least two people were killed on Saturday August 27 and several others injured in a village near Rotterdam after a truck swerved off the road and drove into a group dining outside, according to Dutch police.
The accident happened in the early evening when the Spanish-registered truck left the road in Zuidzijdsedijk, about 30 km south of Rotterdam. “The truck drove into a group of people attending a neighborhood barbecue“, said the Rotterdam police on its Twitter account.
