Three people died in an apartment fire on Wednesday morning in Rambouillet in the Yvelinestold AFP firefighters des Yvelines and a police source. The emergency services intervened around 7:30 a.m. for a fire in a residential building on Ru Jouanne alley, the prosecution indicated to 20 minutes. The latter has also opened an investigation for “murder and willful destruction by fire resulting in death”.
Three charred bodies were discovered “which could correspond to the three usual occupants of the apartment, a 48-year-old woman and her two children, an 18-year-old boy and an 8-year-old girl”, specifies the prosecution. The first forensic findings on the spot suggest that serious violence was exerted on the teenager.
In conflict with his ex
The forties, of Bulgarian nationality, occupied this accommodation without title with her two children, the holder of the lease being her former companion, from whom she had separated in 2020. Moreover, “the local court of Rambouillet, seized by the holder of the lease, ordered on January 17, 2023 the eviction of the occupant”, adds the prosecution.
