- Russian bombing kills 49 in Groza, Kupiansk district, report the Ukrainian authorities. The shooting(s) took place around 1:15 p.m. local time. A food store and a cafe were hit, regional governor Oleg Synegoubov said on Telegram. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky denounced “a totally deliberate act of terrorism.”
- The center of Kherson was bombed Thursday around 9:30 a.m. (8:30 a.m. in Paris), announced the Ukrainian Prosecutor General’s Office. “Two civilians, a man and a woman who were in the street, were killed”, he specifies in a press release. The Ukrainian army announced Thursday morning that it had shot down 24 explosive drones out of a total of 29 launched by Russia during a new night attack.
- A hospital in the Beryslav district of the Kherson region was bombedThursday, announced the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine. “The hospital building was partially destroyed. A driver and a rescuer from the health facility were injured,” he specifies in a press release.
- Europe cannot replace American support for Ukrainesaid Josep Borrell, head of diplomacy of the European Union (EU), on Thursday, while the political crisis in Washington raises questions about continued aid from the United States. “Difficult election period in the United States.
