According to witness statements, the upper floor of the two-story building initially collapsed, and then parts of the building gradually collapsed floor by floor. Neighbors then called the police. According to other eyewitnesses, the rescue workers tried to treat a 24-year-old who was at the scene of the accident. However, there was nothing more they could do for him.

The emergency services are working hard to rescue anyone who may have been buried and to treat the injured. Other buildings may also have been damaged. Evacuation is possible.
