At Grafing: head-on collision at the traffic lights – Ebersberg

A head-on collision occurred on Wednesday evening on the B304 near Grafing. According to the police, a 75-year-old driver from the Munich district ignored the red light here. He drove straight ahead in the direction of Wasserburg and overlooked the car of a 27-year-old from the Ebersberg district, who wanted to turn left at the green towards Grafing. The vehicles collided head-on in the junction area.

The 27-year-old suffered moderate injuries, police said. After outpatient treatment, she was taken to the district hospital. Both vehicles were severely damaged and had to be towed away. There was damage totaling around 20,000 euros. The fire brigade took over traffic control while the accident was being recorded and secured the accident site. Eastbound traffic had to be diverted via Grafing.
