A view of the clear starry sky is something that more and more people dream of. However, the places where this is possible are becoming increasingly rare thanks to light pollution. We introduce you to eight hotspots for astrotourism.
Canada In Canada there is a lot of nature, wild bears – and an impressive 13 light protection areas. The crystal-clear night sky is particularly evident over the country’s many nature reserves, such as Banff National Park in Alberta. The Fundy National Parks in New Brunswick and Point Pelee in Ontario are also worthwhile excursion destinations for stargazers. At the Parc du Mont-Bellevue in the heart of Sherbrooke, you can find a clear starry sky even close to Quebec City.
