Aschheim – Jobs secured at Aquatherm – District of Munich

The employees of Aquatherm GmbH building technology, heating, sanitary at the location in Aschheim can breathe a sigh of relief. Operations continue for the 60 employees and 40 other employees of a subsidiary in Croatia. The company had to file for bankruptcy in mid-July because the parent company was in crisis and a syndicated loan agreement had been terminated. As insolvency administrator Michael Schuster reports, Aquatherm was taken over by Kingjee Investment Germany GmbH, which, together with its subsidiary Gustav Epple Baukonzept GmbH, is active in the area of project development and residential and commercial construction. It was quickly possible to stabilize the business operations and at the same time to look for investors under high pressure. “This is a very significant success for the creditors and for the employees of Aquatherm,” says Schuster. Aquatherm itself worked profitably before the parent company went bankrupt and also achieved annual surpluses during the Corona crisis. Aquatherm GmbH Building Technology Heating Sanitary specializes in the creation and installation of heating systems, sanitary facilities and bathrooms for public, commercial and private customers.
