A 66-year-old from Aschheim died on Sunday as a result of injuries sustained when he fell from his pedelec on Saturday afternoon. According to the police, the man tried to get on his bike and drive off around 11 p.m., but fell after a few meters in Hofstattstrasse and sustained serious injuries. After he got home, his health deteriorated further, so his wife called the ambulance. This brought him to a Munich clinic. According to the police, the man broke the femur, but there may also have been previous illnesses. On Sunday afternoon, the 66-year-old died in the clinic despite an immediate operation.
