Art crime thriller about Gustav Klimt’s “Portrait of Fräulein Lieser” – culture

This was announced on January 25th Vienna auction house in Kinsky the sensation. “Fräulein Lieser” had resurfaced, a late portrait of a woman by Gustav Klimt. It is a life-size portrait of a charming-looking young woman in a floral cape. The painting was never seen in public and was considered lost. Only a black and white photo from 1925 existed. Who could have guessed that the background would be orange? It is one of Klimt’s last works – when he died in February 1918, it was in his studio, not yet fully completed. After that the trail goes away.
