He was placed in judicial detention on his arrival from Budapest, a judicial source told AFP.
The 27-year-old former soldier was arrested on the night of March 22 to 23 at the Zahony border post (Hungary) as part of a European arrest warrant, while he was trying to go to Ukraine.
A possible incarceration
The former marine commando, also a GUD activist, will be presented on Friday to an examining magistrate with a view to his indictment, then to a judge of freedoms and detention to rule on his possible placement in pre-trial detention, a specified this same source to 20 minutes. Two other people have already been indicted in this case and remanded in custody. Romain Bouvier, a relative of Loïk Le Priol, also suspected of having shot the former rugby player, was indicted for “murder” and two offenses related to the possession of weapons. Aged 31, this ultra-right figure was arrested three days after the events in Sablé-sur-Sarthe (Sarthe) by the Nantes Research and Intervention Brigade (BRI). He was imprisoned in the prison of La Santé in Paris.
A 24-year-old woman, presented as the girlfriend of Loïk Le Priol and suspected of having driven a vehicle belonging to the soldier on the evening of the facts, has, for her part, been indicted for “complicity in assassination”.

Federico Martin Aramburu, a 42-year-old former Argentinian rugby player, was shot dead on March 19 in the early morning after an altercation in a bar in Saint-Germain-des-Près, Le Mabillon, in the 6th arrondissement of Paris, according to the first elements of the investigation. The former player died on the spot a few minutes later. The investigation has not yet identified the author of the fatal blows.
A figure of the ultra-right, Loïk Le Priol is “file S” by the General Directorate of Internal Security (DGSI), sources familiar with the matter told AFP.
