Arrest warrants against young people after a series of robberies in Lower Franconia – Bavaria

Two arrest warrants were issued after a series of robberies in Lower Franconia. A 15-year-old and a 16-year-old youth are in custody, the police said on Monday. They are said to be part of an eight-person group that is said to be responsible for several robberies and physical injuries in Kitzingen and Würzburg. In different constellations, the young people – all between the ages of 14 and 17 – are said to have stolen bags and clothing. They often threatened their victims with a knife.

The investigations against the group have been ongoing for several weeks. On Thursday, several house searches took place, during which, among other things, stolen goods and knives were seized. The young people are now facing various criminal proceedings.
