Around 70 thefts from cars since the beginning of the year in Middle Franconia – Bavaria

After around 70 thefts from unlocked cars in Middle Franconia since the beginning of the year, the police are warning vehicle owners in the region to be careful. As investigators announced on Tuesday, the unknown perpetrators mostly struck cars parked in yards, carports or on the side of the road. Most recently, several similar thefts were reported in Treuchtlingen (Weissenburg-Gunzenhausen district) on Monday night.

The police therefore advised increased caution and warned owners to lock their cars. If possible, you should park your vehicle in a garage instead of outside. Drivers in the region should also be careful not to leave any valuables in their vehicle.
