Aris Alexander Blettenberg in the BR studio building – Munich

With its facade made of limestone slabs, the BR studio building is not an inviting place. But behind the monochrome shell there is a multicolored sounding core: chamber music, jazz, folk music, pop, music for video games. Now also a piano program by Aris Alexander Blettenberg, which brings Beethoven into contact with August Bungert, which allows the darkly glowing Sonata Opus 6 by Felix Draeseke to converse with Francis Poulenc’s little elephant Babar. Such an experimental selection is perfect for this place, which probably won’t be around for long.
