Ousmane Dembele’s future at Barca beyond the summer remains uncertain. Is Jürgen Klopp now involved in poker for the French?
Ousmane Dembele (24) from FC Barcelona is apparently on the wish list of Liverpool coach Jürgen Klopp. This is what the English portal reports teamtalk and the newspaper The Mirror.
Accordingly, the LFC officials want to start talks with Dembele’s side in winter to convince him of a free transfer after the current season. Because the ex-Dortmunder’s contract with Barca expires at the end of this season.
Dembele moved from BVB to Barca in 2017 for 135 million euros
For the Reds, Dembele would be an alternative on the offensive – provided he remains injury-free. Due to various injuries, he only made 118 appearances for the Blaugrana in just under four and a half years. In addition to Liverpool, the Premier League duo Manchester City and Chelsea FC are also said to be interested in Dembele. Juventus Turin are also considering a transfer.
As a reminder: In 2017, the Frenchman moved from BVB to the Catalans for around 135 million euros.
