Oliver Schenk brought Dresdener Eierschecke for everyone to talk to in his office in the Saxon State Chancellery; the plates are discreetly decorated with the state coat of arms. Next year there will be state elections and difficult negotiations about the broadcasting fee. Schenk is State Minister for Federal Affairs and Media and head of the State Chancellery of CDU Prime Minister Michael Kretschmer. He has a few surprisingly pragmatic suggestions about the future of ARD and ZDF.
