ARD series Oderbruch: Horror discovery in Brandenburg – media

A pile of decomposed corpses is what two anglers come across one morning as they stumble across an empty field near Krewlow, a small town in the Oderbruch. The Oderbruch is a sparsely populated region in Brandenburg, on the Polish border. The country is repeatedly hit by floods, the last major one was in 1997. The site of the discovery is demarcated with white canvases, containers and tents are set up in which women and men in protective suits work and autopsy the corpses, everything is peppered with surveillance cameras. There are also animal carcasses on the pile, and there is also one survivor. The LKA is taking the monstrous find very seriously and is sparing no effort.
