Ever since the Cambridge Analytica scandal, it has been known that the data we leave on social media is worth its weight in gold to election manipulators. The journalist Peter Kreysler investigated the question of how data companies and PR agencies could influence the federal election. Undercover he pretended to be an election advisor for “The Party” and received dubious offers in London’s posh restaurants. Filmed with a hidden camera, an ARD documentary and a radio feature were created in collaboration with co-author Gesine Enwaldt.
