April weather: Improvement in the weather in sight – temperatures are rising

The weather is finally improving for the last weekend in April. “The temperature will rise again on Saturday to values of up to 21 degrees, and on Sunday even up to 25 degrees in some places,” said meteorologist Sebastian Schappert from the German Weather Service (DWD) in Offenbach.

In the eastern half it will be spring-like, but in the west and northwest there can still be showers and thunderstorms. Sahara dust like at the beginning of the month is therefore not yet in sight.

But first there’s an uncomfortable Thursday ahead. The maximum temperatures are between seven and eleven degrees, the many clouds in the sky always bring showers, and snow falls above 600 to 800 meters. There are isolated thunderstorms in the north and northeast. On Friday it will slowly improve, then the maximum values will rise to 10 to 15 degrees, in the southeast it can be 17 degrees. There you can see the sun more often during the day, while in the northwest half clouds usually cover the sky and it rains every now and then.

Spring fever could arise on Saturday, especially in the east and southeast, where it will be sunny and dry for a long time. In the west and northwest, on the other hand, the cloudiness increases over the course of the day, there are occasional showers, and thunderstorms are also possible.
