Anna Lapwood is the organist. She played a number of songs on the public organ in honor of the late Queen Elizabeth II.
To her surprise, a security guard from the underground station joined her and sang the aria Lascia ch'io pianga by George Frideric Handel. (Lá-scha kió piánga) After the touching performance, Lapwood wrote on Twitter: "It was so moving. Spontaneously stopped at the organ at London Bridge Station to play a few tunes for the Queen. This lovely security guard, Marcella, asked me if I could play lascia pianga. It turned out that she has a training as a singer.
Anna Lapwood is a well-known organist, having given concerts around the world including at the Royal Albert Hall.
