King consort Camilla recently visited a British antiques programme. In doing so, she had a special royal item.

Once again, the king’s wife Camilla (75) thrilled with a special appearance on British television. The BBC broadcast last Sunday a new episode of the “Antiques Roadshow” where the Queen Consort was a guest with a royal souvenir.

Camilla is a big fan of the show

According to the broadcaster, the episode was shot near St Austell near Cornwall in the summer, before the death of Queen Elizabeth II (1926-2022). At that time, Camilla still held the title of Duchess of Cornwall. So it’s no wonder she brought something “that is associated with Cornwall,” as Camilla herself explained on the show. Her noble silver snuff box with a gilded interior was made between 1800 and 1820 for King George IV (1762-1830), she revealed.

Presenters responded enthusiastically to the royal relic, describing Camilla’s visit as a “total privilege”. For the 75-year-old, the appearance was a “pleasure”, after all, she “watched forever and ever” the antiques show on Sunday evening.

Charles also attended an antiques show

Camilla’s husband King Charles III. (74) was already a guest in a famous antique show. During his appearance on “The Repair Shop,” which aired in 2022, Charles arrived with two royal items in need of repair: an 18th-century clock and a ceramic piece from the time of Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee (1819-1901 ).
