Apex Legends: Native PS5 version launches today




As announced by Electronic Arts, the native PlayStation 5 version of the battle royale shooter “Apex Legends” will be released this Tuesday. As part of the official announcement, what the title has to offer technically on the current generation consoles was also discussed.








After months of waiting, Electronic Arts announced that the battle royale shooter “Apex Legends” will finally find its way to the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X/S in the form of a native implementation on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 .

As part of the corresponding announcement, what “Apex Legends” has to offer technically on the current generation of consoles was also discussed. On the one hand, it was promised that the players of the Battle Royal shooter can look forward to a display in 4K and 60 frames per second.

There are also higher-resolution shadows, larger LOD distances and support for HDR technology. As it goes on to say, technical updates are also planned, with which further improvements and features will be introduced.
