The new season of the RTL format “I’m a Star – Get Me Out of Here!” started on January 19th. The show will once again take place in Australia. RTL brought the twelve more or less prominent participants there. The star introduces all candidates. Here: Anya Elsner.

The biggest success

After graduating from secondary school, Elsner completed training as a dental assistant, which she completed in 2022. She then applied for “Germany’s Next Top Model” and appeared in the 18th season in 2023. On the show, Elsner was often offensive with her manner. She isolated herself from the other candidates and stood out because of her excessive ambition. For example, she said that she didn’t apply to GNTM to find friends there, but to win the format. She was quickly labeled as the bitch of the season. In the end, Elsner took 15th place in the show. After her departure, she said in an interview: “I learned that I should be more careful about how I present myself and how I communicate. I did a lot of things wrong during GNTM, but I learned from my mistakes.”

Why is she going to the jungle camp?

Anya Elsner sees the format as an opportunity to prove that she can not only be arrogant and bitchy, but also friendly and sensitive. The 20-year-old says she wants to show a new side of herself. She also enjoys the thrill. “I just find the jungle a really awesome experience. It’s really something completely different. Just being exposed in the jungle and seeing how you survive.”
