Quiet debut for Antoine Dupont with the Blues
The attraction Antoine Dupont, who is aiming for the Paris Olympic Games (July 26-August 11), played his first minutes with the French sevens rugby team in Vancouver (Canada), support of a team mastering its subject. A few hours after their victory against the United States (24-12), the Blues beat Samoa (40-7) by scoring six tries. Antoine Dupont played a few more minutes, participating in the last try.

Before competing in the Olympic Games Paris this summer, the Blues face the United States, Samoa then Australia in the World Sevens stage in Vancouver (Canada).
After the immense disillusionment experienced with the French XV during the 2023 World Cup at home, Dupont decided to take a break from rugby 7s. With one objective: win Olympic gold this summer. For now, the scrum half from Stade Toulouse has only participated in training courses with the French 7s team.
