Anthropic launches Claude 3 in Europe

Among the competitors of OpenAI and its famous ChatGPT, the company Anthropic announced the arrival, in France and Europe, of Claude 3, its generative artificial intelligence model. After Google and its new AI-powered search engine, Anthropic is deploying Claude all over the world.

This new AI assistant includes three models with different power levels, Haiku, Sonnet and Opus. From now on, Europeans can use claude.ai with a web version of the AI assistant and another mobile version (especially on Apple devices). Companies will also have their version through the “Claude Team” plan which gives access to different models and features, for a subscription of 28 euros per month per employee.

An efficient and effective tool

According to the founders of OpenAI defectors Anthropic, Claude 3 is an interface that allows users to provide images and documents for their queries. “Claude gives users control and the ability to easily create, reproduce and enrich their ideas both in the workplace and in their daily lives,” said Dario Amodei, CEO and co-founder of Anthropic. “The Opus version is the most intelligent model, with the best performance on the market for very complex tasks,” the company further specifies in a press release.

The manager also highlighted that “millions of people around the world already use Claude to develop scientific processes, improve customer service or improve their texts. I can’t wait to see what European people and businesses will be able to create thanks to Claude.”
