Mohamed Amri, made an antigen test on Sunday which turned out to be positive, indicated the president of the special assize court of Paris in a message sent to the lawyers. “As it stands, it appears that the hearing will not be able to resume on Tuesday or this week given the isolation period in force,” according to the message.

Other detainees must also be screened. The trial was already suspended in early January, the main defendant, Salah Abdeslam, having contracted the Covid in prison at the end of December and is still positive.
The hearing resumed on January 11 and was again postponed on January 18, after Ali El Haddad Asufi, also detained, tested positive. The trial resumed on January 25. After the first interrogations of the defendants on the merits, the week was to be devoted to new hearings of Belgian investigators.
