Anna Sorokin spoke about her everyday life in prison in a podcast and raves about her lawyer, among other things. The impostor should also be deported to Germany – but successfully defended herself against it.

The imposter Anna Sorokin should actually already be in Germany after her deportation from the USA. As the “New York Post” reported, the German-Russian should take a flight from New Jersey to Frankfurt on Monday evening. US officials accompanied them. But nothing came of it. How among other things the “Bild” newspaper reported Sorokin did not arrive in Hesse as planned. Apparently she put up too much resistance and was therefore not loaded onto the plane. Sorokin, who posed as billionaire heiress Anna Delvey for years and cheated friends, acquaintances and companies out of a lot of money, is said to have tried to prevent the deportation to the last. Her attorney plans to file another application for it.

Because the 31-year-old wants to make as much profit as possible from her story, which she also succeeds in: The Netflix series “Inventing Anna” helped her become even more famous, a book deal and her own fashion collection are said to be planned. She already served her sentence last year, but was behind bars again after a few weeks because she overdid a credit card and her residence status in the USA expired. In a podcast she recently chatted about her everyday life in prison.

Anna Sorokin still wants to build her company

She read magazines like the Wall Street Journal and Vogue there, so she kept herself informed. “We also have tablets in our rooms, but we don’t all have access. I can read messages and use Messenger, but I can only write to people who are on my contact list,” she said in “Forbidden Fruits” the actress Julia Fox. This was in the headlines because of a brief liaison with Kanye West himself.

The two also chatted about Sorokin’s “hot” attorney, Todd Spodek. He stole the show from her, joked Sorokin. The fake heiress also spoke about her well-known outfits in court. For example, the choker collar she wore on one day of the hearing was actually a belt on one of her very expensive shorts. And she admitted she hasn’t given up on her dream of starting a business with her name. “But it wouldn’t be the same as what I planned to do in my 20s,” Sorkin said. After her experiences in prison, she could imagine something with art on the subject of prison reform.
