Anna Schudt plays a midwife in the ZDFneo production “Push”. Christiane Hammerl provided technical advice to the makers of the series. In the star-Interview they talk about their birth experiences and advocate for better pay for midwives.
Ms. Schudt, you have three sons. How do you remember the births of your children?
Anna Schudt: I can’t really remember much, but the beginning and the end. My last birth was a bit exciting. But looking back, I think of very happy, surprising hours.
Two of your children were born at home. Why did you choose this? Weren’t you worried about complications?
