On “Let’s Dance,” Anna Ermakova danced her way to victory to the music of other artists. Now she wants to start out as a singer herself.
The daughter of Boris Becker (56) impressively demonstrated that Anna Ermakova (23) has great talent as a dancer when she won the last season of “Let’s Dance”. Now she has dedicated herself to the next challenging project – the 23-year-old now also wants to get started as a singer. For this she dared to cover a world-famous song that says a lot about her own path in life, as she revealed to “Bild”.
Accordingly, she recorded her version of The Who classic “Behind Blue Eyes” in a recording studio and in the presence of her mother Angela (56), which the rock band Limp Bizkit once covered very successfully. The song is about self-doubt and sadness, but also about the feeling of anger that hides “behind blue eyes” – Ermakova’s eye color.
She apparently felt all of this because of her publicly torn apart childhood as the daughter of world star Boris Becker, as she revealed to the newspaper: “It wasn’t easy growing up with all the press hype about the intimate details of my parents’ meeting, without that my perspective or feelings on the matter have really been taken into account since I was a small child.”
Multi-talented Ermakova
She finally wants to leave this behind: it is important to Ermakova that from now on she is “judged based on my creative work and not based on my family history,” she continues. She took a first and extremely successful step last year with her victorious participation in “Let’s Dance”. In addition to her singing ambitions, the model also wants to start as a new juror on the RTL show “Das Supertalent”. The 16th season of the format will start on January 29th and at prime time. In addition to Ermakova, show veteran Dieter Bohlen (69) as well as model Bruce Darnell (66) and “Let’s Dance” professional dancer Ekaterina Leonova (36) are on the jury.
