Animoca Brands unveils plans for K-pop NFT metaverse

Animoca Brands, an NFT game company, has announced that it is partnering with Korean label Cube Entertainment to create a “K-pop metaverse.”

Announced on November 15, the partnership will see Animoca and Cube work together to create a multimedia NFT to celebrate Cube’s popular K-pop performers and musicians. NFT will feature images such as artist portraits and covers. album It also includes digital audio sources such as full albums.

Animoca Brands chief executive Yat Siu said he can’t wait to start working with Cube to “make the open metaverse a reality”, with Animoca explaining that the partnership allows “True digital asset rights and other blockchain benefits” for both Cube artists and their fans.

Cube CEO Ahn Woo Hyung said the collaboration would be “An important starting point for leading the global digital culture market and developing the digital content industry.”
