Who has the most beautiful cow in the entire northwest? This question was examined again in the “Miss Ostfriesland” election. A cow from near Wilhelmshaven won.

Cow Pamela from the Hobbie farm Wilhelmshaven has been crowned “Miss East Frisia”. She received the most points in the election in Leer, Lower Saxony, as the organizers announced. Dozens of cows were in the running for the title.

“I’m incredibly proud of Pamela,” said cattle breeder Anna Hobbie from Wangerland. The black and white cow was at a show for the first time. During the preparation, she paid special attention to her animal’s food, said the Wangerland native.

The Association of East Frisian Livestock Breeders organized the show in the Ostfrieslandhalle. Breeders present their animals to a judge. The previous title holder, the five-year-old black and white dairy cow India from a breeder in Berumerfehn north of Emden, did not compete again. The annual competition is considered an important showcase for breeders in northwest Lower Saxony. With a successful performance you can advertise your stables and offspring.
