Boris Becker’s ex-affair Angela Ermakowa comments on the current events surrounding her daughter’s father. Boris Becker was found guilty of delaying bankruptcy and faces imprisonment.

She appears composed, but still moved in a video interview with the “Bild-Zeitung”. Boris Becker’s ex-lover, Angela Ermakova, talks about Becker’s bankruptcy process. She says she feels sympathy for the former tennis star.

The seriousness of the situation becomes clear in her first sentences: “It is very sad that his wonderful career has come to such an abrupt end,” says the mother of their daughter about Boris Becker. She feels compassion for his current situation. The 54-year-old was found guilty on four out of 24 charges of delaying bankruptcy in a London court late last week. The sentence is expected on April 29, but it can mean up to seven years in prison for Becker.

Angela Eramkowa has known about his financial problems for years

Angela Ermakowa feels a lot of empathy for the former Wimbledon winner: “I know from personal experience what it means to be publicly humiliated. People talk about you and judge you.” She herself seems to be referring to the situation when she was expecting a child from Becker and that she was in the public eye with this child for a long time. At the time, she was said to have had a dalliance with Becker in a hotel laundry room and allegedly committed seed robbery.

She also comments on public humiliation that it probably feels worse when you’re older and have health problems. “I also hope that people don’t judge him too harshly,” she admits. “The higher you are, the worse you can fall,” she says of Boris Becker’s sports career.

Becker is said to have informed Ermakowa about his financial problems in 2015 and asked for help. Although it was probably not possible for Ermakowa to help, she hopes for the father of her daughter Anna that he will not have to go to prison at his age and in poor health.
