Filming for the second season of “And Just Like That…” has started. The series stars announce this on Instagram.
The “Sex and the City” successor “And Just like That…” has just started on German free TV. Every Tuesday evening at prime time, VOX shows the premiere season around the stars and returnees Sarah Jessica Parker (57), Cynthia Nixon (56) and Kristin Davis (57). A second edition of the revival has also been confirmed since the beginning of this year – and has now apparently started filming. The series stars Parker and Sara Ramirez (47) announce this on Instagram.
Sarah Jessica Parker announces the start of filming
With more than eight million followers Carrie Bradshaw actress Parker shared a picture of the cover of the screenplay for the first episode of season 2 “And Just Like That…”.. The 57-year-old, who will also appear in “Hocus Pocus 2” at the end of the month, wrote: “Just so much. For the moment”. To be on the safe side, Parker crossed out the title of the opening episode beforehand so as not to spoil the numerous fans.
Ex-“Grey’s Anatomy” star Ramirez, who embodies the all-new character Che Diaz on “And Just Like That…”, also shared a photo on Instagram, showing the scripts for the first two episodes of season two. Ramirez, who identifies as nonbinary, captioned it, “Shhhhh…” accompanied by a finger-to-mouth emoji.
An official start date for the second season of the HBO Max series has not yet been set. In season one, however, almost exactly half a year passed between the start of filming and the premiere of the first episode. If “And Just like That…” remains in this schedule for season two, the new episodes should flicker across the screens in the spring of next year.
