Evan Handler Responds To Kim Cattrall’s Return To The Sex And The City Universe Her cameo in “And Just Like That…” was “amazing”.

Friendly reaction to Kim Cattrall’s (66) appearance in the “Sex and the City” series sequel “And Just Like That…”. Actor Evan Handler (62) told People magazine, her cameo was “great” even though she had “no contact with anyone”. Handler plays Harry Goldenblatt, Charlotte’s (Kristin Davis, 58) husband, in both series.

Earlier this week it was reported that Cattrall is reprising her role as Samantha Jones in the second season of the Max series, but was not in contact with any of the cast during the recording, which Handler confirmed. “Apparently it was [ihr Cameo] filmed somewhere in a garage with no contact to anyone, so the only place I can greet it is in my living room when it’s on TV,” Handler continued.

Cattrall’s return to the series is intended as a one-off action to bring fans of the original series a close. Still, the door is said to have been left open for Cattrall. In the event of a third season, she could return, as the message goes on to say.

In the first season of “And Just Like That…” Samantha was only mentioned

Cattrall portrayed Samantha in all six seasons of the HBO series (1998-2004) and in the two feature films (2008, 2010). The character made her last appearance in “Sex and the City 2”. In the first season of “And Just Like That…” (from 2021) Samantha was mentioned but was never seen.

Samantha’s absence from the series was explained by the fact that her character fell out with Sarah Jessica Parker’s (58) Carrie Bradshaw. The two characters had lost contact and only communicated with each other via text messages.

“And Just Like That…” from June 22 on Sky

In Germany, the new season of “And Just Like That…” can be seen on Sky and the Wow streaming service from June 22nd. The other episodes always appear on Thursdays. In the US, the second season will be shown on the Max streaming service.
